Surreal Pet Portraits!

Surreal Pet Photography - We take the ordinary pet portrait, either from the studio or from a location shoot and combine elements in a way that you would not normally expect.

We might begin the process by using a Family Portrait with you sitting on the couch. The dogs are relaxed and watching their surroundings.

Then we transport the dogs to a lonely desert highway on a stormy afternoon. The regal light shows off their stoic magnificence.

Some surreal art might be more depending on whether or not licenses need to be obtained, if travel is involved to take more background pictures, if reshoots need to happen, etc.

What’s included:

In home or online face-to-face pre-meet to discuss the concept or concepts to be delivered.
All editing to create the artwork.
Delivery within 4 weeks of your order.
1 base photo of your pet(s) is used for the composite.

NOTE:

Printed Wall Art is not included and is purchased separately.
NO digital files are included. However, a small, watermarked digital file is provided for sharing on social media, email, or other digital sharing.
Up to two pets. Additional Pets are $100 each.

Can I use pictures from other MJPP shoots or from other photographers?

Pets from other photos that were shot by Michael Jackson Pet Photography, can be included for $100 each. Photos provided by other photographers must be accompanied by a signed Release form from the photographer. However, depending on the lighting, resolution, composition of the piece, etc. the shot might not be able to be incorporated into the surreal composite.
My pet has passed away and all I have is cell phone pictures. What can I do?

Depending on the quality of the photo that was taken, we might be able to create a beautiful portrait for you.

We'd have to see the picture and determine if can be used. Please know that the print size and print quality for the final image will be determined by how clean the original cell phone picture is.
I have a print of my pet. Can you use it for a composite?

Depending on the quality of the photo that was taken, we might be able to create a beautiful portrait for you.

The photo will need to be scanned to turn it into a digital file. We'd have to see the picture and determine if can be used. Please know that the print size and print quality for the final image will be determined by how clean the original cell phone picture is.
